I think I found a rules contradiction? Page 45 (preview 7): "Companions can be killed. If your companion is killed, give yourself 1 experience point for each marked ability (see experience, below). Then, remove the asset. If you acquire the same type of companion through the narrative of your quest and journeys, you are free to rebuy the asset at the normal cost." Page 95: "If your companion is killed, set aside the asset. If you acquire the same type of companion through the story of your quest and journeys, you may buy that asset and any existing upgrades again for 1 less experience (rebuy the asset for 2 experience, and upgrades for 1 experience each). This reflects your familiarity working with a particular type of companion." So one rule gives you an experience rebate, which can be spent on other assets, while the other rule gives you no experience but lets you rebuy the asset at a discount. Which is correct?
