It's, #inspirationmonday again, so let's Ask the Oracle for some inspiration and see what we get. Something different this week. Instead of a piece of illustration, here's a screen cap from the movie The Revenant. I'm a big fan of this movie, and the amazing landscapes and driven protagonist were very much on my mind while working on Ironsworn. Also, as far as I understand it Josh McGraw is basically this guy right now in his Ironsworn game.

Happy #inspirationmonday, and another look inside my Ironsworn inspiration art folder. I've got loads of art for landscapes and villages, and this painting by Sergey Vasnev is one of my favorites. I love the rugged but beautiful environment. I especially love the love the lighting, which is reminiscent of classic landscapes by Albert Bierstadt. It's time for #inspirationmonday, and another glimpse inside my Ironsworn inspiration art folder. Love the character design in this one! I like to think of it as a warrior (or perhaps beast slayer--check out the bear teeth) who has come home to write her epilogue, and whose child will someday set off on the same perilous path.
