I wanted to bump this. I know it's part of the archives of the group, but I just saw it today, while scrolling down to see what goodies I might've missed. I had always thought the image of the cover had been a very cool stock photo. This, however, has shown me there's far more than what meets the eye when it comes to Ironsworn! Today I decided to create an erasable character sheet, using a few elements I had around. I used: - 1 clear acetate sheet - a cutter and a ruler - some thin strips of masking tape - a printed photocopy of the character sheet - black acrylic paint with a brush First, I printed a character sheet on ordinary office paper. Because I wanted it to fit inside the book, I reduced the character sheet to half its size. Then, I folded the acetate sheet in half, and I placed the character sheet inside. I used the cutter and the ruler to trim the excess material around the borders. Once that was done, I used some strips of masking tape to close the borders, and with some acrylic paint (I chose black), I painted over the masking tape to give it a "rough edges" look.°° And, that was it! The cool thing about the acetate sheet is that it allows me to draw or write on top of it using an erasable marker, so no need to print new copies all the time! I hope this mini tutorial gives you some ideas...

After undertaking an epic journey of more than 5000 miles, my Ironsworn copy has just arrived! Thank you Shawn Tomkin for all of your hard work.

Inspired by Magnus Natt och Dag's map, I offer you the hexagonal version of the Ironlands! I used Hexographer, and the available Ironlands maps for inspiration (both Magnus' and the original map). I also read the descriptions given in the rulebook to make sure details were as close as possible. You'll see two versions here: The first one, which includes all different region tags, plus the defined frontiers. The second one is a much bigger file that includes all elements in more detail + grids and frontiers, but it omits the region tags. Shawn Tomkin I've started translating the core book to Spanish as a way of practicing my own linguistic skills. It's going to be a long project, but it'll be worth it. Translating the table of contents was definitely a good exercise! So far, I've managed to get everything up to page 23, just before the "Oracle rolls" section. I must admit I admire your writing skills! Following your ideas is easy and enjoyable. Also, the level of detail you've added to the book is fantastic! By focusing on translating I've been able to see Ironsworn from a new perspective. I'm using markdown conventions for the format of titles, lists, etc. which is why I'm linking StackEdit. OK, after the latest update, I've decided to give the system a try. I arranged a virtual version of the components using Photoshop and the Tabletop Simulator game. It has been a really interesting experience, and I like the way the game flows. Also, I've gotten surprisingly lucky with my dice rolls, scoring strong hit after strong hit. But, who knows what will happen next!
