After having such a good experience playing Ironsworn solo, I played a new adventure with my sister to try out the co-op mode. It was just as fun this way. Used Roll20 and was disappointed to see that there is no official sheet, but the built in description area works well in a pinch.

I played as Morell Odin, an old Warden of the Circle of Stormhall, who seeks to free his people from the oppressive Fanir of the Stone. My sister played as Lagartha Shattershield, who sought to do the same. We began by traveling to a predetermined location in the dead of night to meet and discuss our next course of action. We had no idea the trouble we'd run into just trying to reach our meeting haha. Long story short, Morell had his shield taken by some of Fanir's men, he decided against killing them, for he was outnumbered and chose to live to fight another day. Unfortunately, that means I lost my Shield-bearer asset quite early in the adventure. Lagartha had a slightly easier time, but was ambushed by a lone feral wolf.

Eventually they met up, and determined that the best course of action was to seek out assistance from a Circle outside of the region, for they were concerned that any Wardens or warriors from the region would be under the thumb of Fanir, and likely to tip him off of their plans.

So, they set out to traveling to Ravencrag, a Circle on the edge of the Deep Wilds in search of honorable Wardens and soldiers willing to help liberate their region.
