Quick rules question: Say the PC has built up 10 progress in a fight, but on their last attack they scored a weak hit and thus lose the initiative necessary to use End the Fight. Can they use Turn the Tide to immediately roll for End the Fight? If so, does the +1 apply?
Hi, Ethan Uhlig! In the previous draft of the rules, I neglected to put "Not a Progress Move" in there for Turn the Tide. It'll be in the final release next month.

Turn the Tide
Once per fight, when you risk it all, you may steal initiative from your foe to make a move (not a progress move). When you do, add +1 and take +1 momentum on a hit.
If you fail to score a hit on that move, you must suffer a dire outcome. Pay the Price.

So, unfortunately you can't use it for an immediate End the Fight, but hopefully you score a strong hit when you Turn the Tide and can take back initiative.
Remember that you can try to End the Fight at any point, and don't need to completely fill the progress track. Sometimes it makes sense to risk it when you don't have the progress track filled, but you want to leverage your initiative before you lose it. Even only +4 on your progress track gives you even odds of a hit. It gets better from there.
Hope that helps!
