Hey all, planning on starting a solo AP soon (maybe when the final version of the core rules comes out).
Hey all, planning on starting a solo AP soon (maybe when the final version of the core rules comes out). Out of curiosity, does anyone have an opinion which type of character they would prefer to read about in the AP, which will take the form of alternating narrative and gamey sections.
1) A mystical assassin/rogue-y type character that uses shadow as the primary stat. Almost certainly will feature shadow walk and probably cutthroat. This would not be a "good" character, but evil is relative.
2) a staff-wielding monk archetype, likely focusing on momentum-gaining synergies to access momentum burn as often as possible. Will focus on Edge
3) a heart-focused charming rogue a la Zorro
4) a holy warrior on a quest to purge heresy (campaign would involve heavy religious strife with the theme being that unity under one faith will end the trials and tribulations of the ironlanders)

I like that first one. Quite an unusual archetype in the setting. I'm into it!
ReplyDeleteIt'd be interesting if the character in big public interactions was a #3, but in reality, his nature would be that of #1
