Quick question/clarification please.
Burning Momentum pg 13 does not list how much to loose. First I assumed it was the default -2, but now I am not sure.
The reset after a burn seemed to indicate that all the momentum goes and it is reset to 2.

  1. Yep, it’s the second interpretation; you lose down to your reset. Certain Assets will increase your reset under certain conditions, Swordmaster and Veteran for example. By default your reset is 2, though debilities (wounded, shaken, unprepared, encumbered) will decrease your reset (and max momentum) by 1 for each you are suffering from.
So if you have no debilities or Assets impacting your Momentum Reset, you’d reset down to 2.

  2. Just looking at the rules again, burdens and banes also count as debilities.

  3. Hi, Allan Prewett. Have a look at "Resetting Momentum" on page 14. After you burn momentum, you need to reset. As Zack MacDonald noted, your reset is +2 (meaning you move the track to the +2 position) unless you have a debility marked.

If you have one debility marked, your reset is +1. If you have more than one debility marked, your reset is 0.

Debilities also lower your max momentum value. It is one less for each debility. So, if you've got 3 debilities marked, your max momentum is 7.

You are the second person to call out some confusion on page 13, so perhaps I need to reference resetting momentum in that section rather than waiting for the next page.
